CDCPA
Canty Dance Centre Parents Association
Established in September, 2003, the Canty Dance Centre Parents Association (CDCPA) works cooperatively with studio owner Erin Canty, and her staff, to enhance morale, build studio spirit and promote communication throughout the studio. The CDCPA coordinates fundraising activities that benefit the entire studio population. Funds raised by the CDCPA are used to provide scholarships, trophies and awards, teacher gifts, competition and workshop fees and to support other dance related activities. This year’s fundraisers included: Pancake Breakfast, Cash Calendar, Showcase Basket Raffle and Concessions, Pasta Dinner, May Car Wash and Recital Basket Raffle and Concessions. Community outreach projects and character building activities coordinated by the CDCPA this year include: Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas for a Cure Cancer Benefit, and Christmas Toy Drive. Studio support funding includes a Graduating Senior Scholarship, Showcase Programs and the Recital Rehearsal Dinner for all dancers and their parents.
Membership in the Canty Dance Centre Parents Association is open to all Canty dancer parents.
